Ok so of course y'all knew you were going to have to deal with my Daytona 500 entry.

( That picture right there )...is what pisses me off the most. Kasey Kahne (#9) was running about 6th place and they went in for pit stops and Jason Leffler (#11, aka the biggest asshole ever now) lost control and cost Kasey a shitload. This happened late in the race so there wasn't enough time to make it back up to the front from 32nd or so place. And of course right after this little accident happened, Leffler crashed, I swear I hope he stays off the track forever, I hate Jason Leffler.

Then Kasey got caught in the middle of a pile up in turn 4 even further towards the end of the race. Luckily he barely got any front end damage but it slowed him down a bit. He restarted in 19th with 7 to go so he did pick up a few spots. But of course, like 5 laps or so to go and Kasey gets pushed up top and slides across the wall...grr

In the end...jeff gordon won and yeah...whatever

let's see...was supposed to go to the homecoming game/block party/fireworks and all that but yeah, didn't get to so that sucks. we won the game tho so that's cool. went to red lobster with my family for my mom's birthday today...so yeah, family nite, what fun. before we went to dinner, my aunt and i went to the outlet mall b/c she wanted to look around, she hadn't been in awhile. i found this awesome jacket but since technically i don't have a job yet i can't just fork over money for a jacket but hopefully i'll get it when i have paychecks and stuff haha.

hmm, spring break isn't too far away, gotta decide if i wanna go somewhere for spring break or what. i kinda do because i'm sick of being in an area of nothing to do. like right this moment, i'm stuck in leesburg on a saturday nite, there's nothing to do, i'm bored outta my mind and everyone on my buddy list is either away or not really talkative tonite. life is boring...this sucks.

was gonna type some other stuff but i'll save that for a private entry lol....

so holly and i went to dulles town center and somehow ended up killing like 2 and a half hours goofing off in that mall lol. it was a lot of fun tho, i'd have pictures but considering i haven't really figured out how to work the camera i got for christmas really well, they all kinda suck lol so i'll have to bug holly and see if her's came out. we were in hecht's just looking around and decided to randomly go pick a dress that was over in the prom dresses and stuff and try one on. i picked ( this awesome green one )
and it fit like absolutely perfect, of course i have no where i'd wear that dress so there wasn't a use to buy it but grr! it was the coolest dress too and it was only 58 dollars.

internet's back so yeah...that's good haha. not much to update, i'm just avoiding hw lol. got offered a job at the bank today...but it's more full time than part time and i don't have the time to put in for that...oh well.

ok so after I got back from bowling with kris, rob, and chrissy last nite (which was awesomely fun as always haha) i find out, my internet is dead. grr, that's right, adelphia sucks. and as i'm writing this, it's STILL down. i'm sitting on the floor of my room, which the crappiest laptop possible, signed into AOL...that's right, DIAL UP. this sucks! it's been down for over 24hrs now too. they so better get their ass out here tomorrow and fix it b/c we don't have unlimited dialup anymore. grr!!!

Had ro run some errands today and figured I'd stop in Kohl's since I hadn't been in there in awhile to say hi. Which really turned into talking to Holly for an hour, shopping, and having Amela, Anita, Aleksandra, and Stephanie telling me to come back and work.

Anyways, I ACTUALLY went to the Library after Kohl's, that's right, Nicole and Library in the same sentence, messed up isn't it? Had to go pick up the next book we're supposed to read for English because I'm not buying it from the GMU Bookstore. And in the midst of all my fun running around LBG, i forgot to get gas in my car so I'll have to go do that tomorrow or later tonite or something...I just hate driving around here, too many traffic lights and stupid people lol.

Ok so I'm off my Josh Gracin kick (slightly, I still have it on my MP3 player haha) but now that I bought the new Michael Buble CD, I'm on a Michael Buble kick. I'm so weird, I go from like rock to country to pop to jazz haha and everything else. People hate when you give them the "I listen to everything" response to what kinda music ya listen to but in my case it's true lol.

ok so 2 days down at Ann Taylor and i already have an application for another job hahaha. i shouldn't have just jumped to taking that job in the first place, i knew it was another clothing retail store and that it would probably suck just as much as any other clothing retail store. i just don't think the policy of "a manager is required to check your coat/purse before you leave the store after your shift" is a very good policy. it doesn't make you feel like you are trusted as an employee of the store. and i hate stalking customers, if they need help, that's great, ask me and i'll help them but i'm not gonna constantly walk up to them and go "do u need help? how are you? looking for anything in particular?" b/c i hate when people do that to me in a store haha. i like to just go in a store and look/shop on my own and if i need help, i'll find someone who works there and ask lol.

anyways...tried to go apply at the bookstore but they need someone that can work 3-4 days a week, 8hrs/day and i can't with my classes and the way my schedule works out. so...i walked over to KBToys for the hell of it and they're hiring so i got an applications lol. in all honesty, anyone that knows me would probably agree that i belong in a toy store lol. i like to work at fun places where you can goof off some and everyone's happy haha. apparently Ann Taylor is too professional and shit for that. I was joking around on Monday about the touchscreen registers reminding me of ones in the JC or at McDonalds so I was joking around with a couple other people that work there and going "meal plan? meal plan? fries with that?" and i got a not so nice look from my manager haha oh well. fuck that store, i'm gonna go be a toy store girl hahaha the people at those stores are fun!

work sucks, i hate retail, that's about it, but everyone knew that already didnt they? lol...i guess as long as i have nicole and oscar, we'll all survive the outlet mall together haha. it's kinda fun taking over the dulles store even if the people that work at that one are um...interesting. and as caroline put it, "i've been here 2 months, i need a new job, this is all rich snotty people who have nothing better to do than come in and buy overpriced clothes and expect me to wait on them the ENTIRE time they're in the damn store" ...which pretty much sums it up. seriously, working at that store, i feel like i'm back being a cheerleader again, they're all....nevermind, not even gonna go there lol. i can't work in a store with all chicks like that, i'll just have to bug oscar and our other asst.manager matt b/c they're prob the only guys working the store haha, atleast the only ones i've found so far. oh well, just gotta countdown til NEXT friday the 18th when i get my 1st paycheck haha. and atleast i know i only work 14hrs/wk while classes are in, 2 4hr shifts mon/wed and a 6hr shift on saturday (but they'll prob keep messing it up and putting in on fridays)

oh total sort of sidenote, since i get to work 10-2 and have a 3-415 class and a 430-710 lab, who knows when i'll be home and online to talk or anything haha. i know i'll get out of lab early (prob during rush hour :-\) but i've got reading for english to finish up, a quick 3 paragraph thing to write for govt and some french stuff to do. blah, i have a feeling tomorrow is going to suck (partly b/c i have to work haha and class, yeah that's a whole nother thing)
